Palletised Cask Filling System

The aim of my project is to design and trial a palletised cask filling system; I hope this website is useful however it will be a work in progress until mid-summer. This system will fill 250 litre oak casks over 95% full within 66 seconds
Whisky Maturation
In order to be sold as Scotch whisky the spirit must be matured in Scotland in oak casks for a minimum of three years [1]. Prior to this maturation it is referred to as ‘new make’ spirit or simply ‘spirit’. Maturation can take place at the distillation site or a remote location.
