Palletised Cask Filling System

Cluny Bond Maturation Site

 

Diageo is constructing a new maturation site, Cluny Bond, in Fife. The site will be entirely palletised and will mature predominately grain whisky. It will consit of 46 warehouses each cabable of containing 60,000 casks or over 2.75 casks for the whole site. There will be a cask filling and disgorging process plant; known as a Filling Store and Disgorging Unit (FSDU) onsite. Construction of the first warehouses on site is now complete and the construction of the FSDU will begin in the second half of 2014 and is due for completion by 2016.

The filling system designed in this project will be installed in the FSDU.
